Just in time for summer
"George’s Bach” Pop Up, in Whangamata, is a new spot for good beer and cider from Good George, and woodfired pizza from Mizzoni.
The George’s Bach Pop Up team secured a site on Ocean Road Whangamata, next to the Achilles Store just before Christmas and rushed to get the doors open in time for the silly season. After installing some taps, putting a woodfired pizza oven out the back and changing over signage, the team at George’s Bach are ready to welcome punters.
Good George Beer and Cider is proudly brewed in Hamilton, and their range of their brews are available fresh and ice cold on tap, plus a line up of pizzas and burgers from Mizzoni.
George’s Bach will trade as a Pop-up through the Summer season, then take feedback from locals and punters and decide on their next steps as a business.
Demand for Good George products in the Coromandel and particularly Whangamata is strong, and there’s already been a very positive response from locals. Good George beer and cider is now available on a number of taps in towns throughout the Coromandel, with George’s Bach adding nine more to the total. The opening comes hot on the back of Good George partnering with Tauranga operators Mark & Mel Lawrence opening Good Local in Pyes Pa, and the brewery team opening Cook Street Social in Hamilton East.
