Black IPA
In most countries the colour black means sadness and loss but in New Zealand it’s more about patriotism and excitement (except in 1991, 1995, 1999, 2003 and 2007 - those years had a heap of sadness and loss). When we made this Black IPA we felt the pride swelling up inside us. You don’t need to sing the national anthem before drinking but when its finished feel free to hold your cup above your head like you’re the world champion.
Black IPA (6.2%) looks midnight black, and has aromas of citrus, herbs, and toffee. On the palate it's rich coffee with a smooth finish and a lingering hint of pine. Keep an eye out for this latest addition to our Special Edition releases.
