Pineapple cider

Pineapple isn’t the most fashionable of fruit. An urban myth about its physiological benefits resulted in a brief, um, spurt of popularity in the nineties. But since then it'­s been confined to fruit salads and bad fusion cooking. Who knew it made great cider? Our brewers tried it one day and were stunned by the results. So, they went out and bought every pineapple in Hamilton, destroying the Hawaiian pizza industry in one fell swoop. You can thank us later for that, but for now get your mouth around this.

Pineapple Cider (4.5%) looks a very cloudy sunshine yellow, and has juicy, tropical aromas. On the palate it's fresh, sweet, and unmistakably pineapple.
